The Word Alone

Father,
Come and flood this land,
With the redeeming blood of Christ
Come and breathe new life into this land,
With your living Word and water of life
Come and heal our broken land,
With grace and mercy tend

Make Your name known among us,
That our sorrows may grow dim
That our sins may turn to joyous forgiveness,
In the power of your Spirit
With grace and mercy tend.
Amen
