The Word Alone

He is the great storm-calmer,
He is the healer of the sick;
He caused the blind to see
And made the lame to stand and walk.
He caused the dumb to talk—
O how great is God Almighty!

Strength to the weary, hope to the broken;
You alone are my desire, my admiration,
For You inspire me to greatness.
Lord, Your grace is faithfulness.

He fed the five thousand,
Turned water into wine,
Raised Lazarus from the dead,
And cast out demons.
He walked on water to show His power—
O how great is God Almighty!

He cured the leper of his pains
And gave hearing to the deaf.
The greatest miracle of them all:
He rose triumphantly from the grave
And gave life to all who believe—
O how great is God Almighty!
