Heavenly Father, open our ears
Thy glorious, unchanging Word to hear,
So when life is over, at Thy throne appear.

Heavenly King, open our eyes
To see our sinful souls,
And our great need for Thee daily.

Lord of creation, open our arms
In surrender to Thy will,
And to give Thee worship due.

Bless our feet, merciful Christ,
To walk in paths of righteousness;
Direct and guide us in goodness.

Take our hearts of stone,
And change them to flesh;
Create in us a true heart.

Heavenly Father, take our hands,
And use them for Thy glory in this land,
To write, teach, and hold strong.

Take our tongues and use them
To proclaim and speak Thy truth;
By mouth and lips bring forth.

Heavenly King, take our minds,
And convict, transform, and conform
To that pure, holy, and Word divine.
