’Twas at Caesarea
When Jesus asked His disciples,
“Who do people say I am?”

They answered and said unto Him,
“Some say John the Baptist,
Others say the prophet Elijah.”

“But what about you?
Who do you say I am—
Who I am?”

Peter declared boldly,
“Thou art the Son of God;
Thou art the Saviour divine.”

“Bless you, Peter, for God
Has shown you the truth—
Not you, but God has opened your eyes.”
