Established on the Rock

“To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.”

Psalm 92:15

The world is constantly changing. Circumstances shift, people disappoint us, and plans do not always unfold as we expect. Yet the psalmist points us to a truth that never changes: the Lord is upright, He is our Rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

A rock speaks of stability, strength, and security. When storms come, a rock remains unmoved. In the same way, God remains faithful regardless of what we face. His character never changes. He is always just, always true, and always good.

This verse challenges us to place our confidence in God rather than in ourselves or our circumstances. When difficulties arise, we can stand firm because our foundation is not built upon shifting sand but upon the unchanging character of God. Every answered prayer, every provision, every act of grace in our lives declares that the Lord is upright and worthy of our trust.

Today, take time to remember God’s faithfulness in your life. Let past blessings strengthen your faith for present challenges. The God who has been faithful before will continue to be faithful today and tomorrow.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for being my Rock and my sure foundation. Help me to trust You in every circumstance and to remember Your faithfulness each day. May my life show others that You are upright and that there is no unrighteousness in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this. After a long time, this message really encouraged my heart. Being established on the Rock reminds me of Jesus’ words in Matthew 7:24-25, where He said that the one who hears His words and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Storms will come, but those who are firmly rooted in Christ will stand strong. I was also reminded of Psalm 18:2, “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer.” In a world that is constantly changing, what a blessing it is to stand on the unchanging foundation of Jesus Christ. Thank you for pointing us back to Him. May God continue to strengthen our faith and help us remain steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord as written in 1 Corinthians 15:58.

This message is a timely reminder that our confidence should never be in our own strength, wisdom, or circumstances, but in Christ alone. Colossians 2:6-7 encourages us to continue to live in Him, being rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith. The deeper our roots go into God’s Word, the stronger we become when trials and difficulties arise. Even when life feels uncertain, God’s promises remain sure and trustworthy. Hebrews 6:19 says that we have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

Thank you again for these encouraging thoughts. May the Lord continue to use your writing to strengthen and inspire many believers. Greetings from India. Please keep our ministry in your prayers as we share the Gospel, encourage churches, and reach people with the love of Christ. We would be grateful for your prayers for wisdom, open doors for ministry, and spiritual growth among those we serve. May God’s grace, peace, and strength be with you each day, and may He continue to establish all of us firmly upon the Rock, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
